The book, entitled "High Temperature Methods of Synthesis" is devoted to description of the alternative methods of advanced materials synthesis, from plasma, gaseous, liquid and solid state precursors, by use of various high temperature sources, like explosive compounds, plasma ignition devices, lasers, high frequency generators, etc. It is written on 249 pages and the material inside is illustrated in 191 figures, and supported by 102 equations and 3 tables. The educational material is based on 290 literature sources. It is conceptually divided into 8 book chapters, as follows:
1. CHAPTER 1: General Characteristics and Classification of the High Temperature Methods and the Respective Materials
2. CHAPTER 2: Non-Radiation Methods for High Temperature Synthesis
3. CHAPTER 3: High Temperature Synthesis from Gaseous and Liquid Phases
4. CHAPTER 4: Radiation Techniques for Synthesis
5. CHAPTER 5: High Temperature Methods for Monocrystal Growth
6. CHAPTER: High Temperature Welds and High Temperature Self Propagation Synthesis
7. CHAPTER 7: Other Specific High Temperature Synthesis Methods
8. CHAPTER 8: Comparative Summary on the High Temperature Synthesis Methods
