The course treat building composites with coarse dispersed reinforcing phase-heavy fillers: gravel, break stone, blast slag and crushed ceramic, light fillers, clinker, water-glass and so on. Special attention is paid to the concrete mixtures, their rheological properties, the wetting of the reinforcement phase and the adhesion. The deformation properties of the concrete and their stability in different environments are discussed. Some attention is paid to the different types of corrosion and the methods for prevention. The properties and applications of the special kinds of concrete are discussed: silicate, polymer-cement and fiber-reinforced, decorative, arbolit, clinker-concrete, concrete with waste materials.
